Already recognized as a traditional food product by the Campania region, "Pomodorino del Piennolo del Vesuvio" has become a DOP.
CONSERVATION
Once you receive the product consume start with the ripest tomatoes, and store the product in a cool place.
The piennolo tomato is referred to here in Naples as " the ugly but good" may show up with some slightly riper tomatoes, but the taste is absolutely of an exceptional level.
