Our scamorza is a cheese to suit all tastes and can be used in many different recipes. It is a pulled-curd cheese available in sweet and smoked varieties!
Scamorza is a pulled-curd cheese made from cow's milk.
Scamorza is rich in protein, calcium and phosphorus, as well as vitamins B12, saturated fat and cholesterol.
Unlike sweet scamorza, smoked scamorza has a stronger and more aromatic flavour, the surface rind takes on a golden colour while the interior is lighter and more homogenous.
Scamorza is excellent eaten on its own but also in its hot version. It can be heated on a non-stick frying pan and then served on a bruschetta with cherry tomatoes and salad.
